Husband and Wife team of in-the-trenches, working Actors Allie & Adrian Quiñonez each have well over 20 years of on-set experience as actors, directors, and producers. They have trained in Conservatories in New York, Los Angeles, and all over the World with the best instructors, institutions, and studios, and most importantly, they have the one thing you can't teach: PASSION for what they do!
They are bringing that passion and training to Orange County, where they have discovered a fantastic place to live, grow their family, and work.
In their own right, teachers and instructors continue to not only have their fingers on the pulse but remain at the epicenter of the action.
With more film shoots stretching south as far as San Diego and a marked shortage of On-Camera study in Orange County, they are excited to bring On-Camera training and further grow roots for a community of Actors here in Costa Mesa!
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Allie Rivera Quiñonez
Co-Founder
Allie began performing in professional theatre at age 5 in her hometown of Cleveland, OH. She continued performing throughout her childhood, eventually landing in New York at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts for Conservatory training at age 16. She went on to study at Boston University and George Washington University, eventually making her way back to the stage in NYC and subsequently to the screen in Los Angeles. Shortly after she migrated to LA, she started teaching/directing/coaching at The Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts in West Hollywood (YADA). During her time at YADA, she started a class for tots, taught an outreach program for WeHo Schools, Directed over 15 classes of Children ages 3-17 per week for four years, and privately coached vocal and acting lessons and workshops for both kids and adults.
She then moved into film and TV as the Creative Executive at a highly successful independent Production/Literary Management Company, FilmEngine Entertainment. There, she was afforded many first-hand opportunities to work in development and to produce on such projects as The Killing Season (Robert De Niro, John Travolta, Dir. John McTiernan), Snow White and the Huntsman (Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart) and Evidence (Radha Mitchell, Stephen Moyer). In 2012, she formed her own production company and produced multiple features, web series, shorts, and social media projects. In addition, she continues to perform, write, develop and produce original content with her husband and partner.
Adrian Quiñonez
Co-Founder
A native Texan of Mexican and Cherokee descent, Adrian relocated to Los Angeles by way of New Orleans after hurricanes Katrina and Rita chased him out west. He has been a working actor ever since and has had the privilege of studying with L.A.'s premiere instructors. His diverse training and on-set experience have influenced his functional teaching style. He eventually applied it to a small company of actors he started in L.A. before making his way down to the O.C. to be closer to his family. While he was there, he coached many of his students through self-tapes and onwards to bookings. Now, he's excited to bring his fresh take to the incredible artist community in Orange County.
Some of his T.V. credits include C.S.I.: (N.Y., Miami, Vegas), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and American Horror Story. With roots in the theatre, he has starred in many stage productions such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Outsiders, and Josefina Lopez’s original musical, Trio Los Machos. He has recently discovered that his passion for creating characters has evolved and extended to behind-the-scenes, having added producing and content creation to his career journey. With a B.F.A. in Art, Adrian studied abroad in Costa Rica, London, Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon, Paris, Florence, and Rome. He loves to focus his creative ventures on exploring and sharing his cultural experiences with a broader audience.
